41 Dub techno presets for:

Roland JD-800 VST (bin format)
Roland JD-08 (svd file format)
ZenCore compatible synths including:
Zenology Pro (with JD800 expansion)
Jupiter X/Xm (svz file format) *

Included:
27 Dub Stabs
11 Atmospheric Pads
3 Dub Sub Basses

* Included SVZ file should work on Jupiter X/Xm hardware synths with JD 800 expansion installed, but since I don't own the Jupiter X/Xm I cannot guarantee 100% compatibility.

Note: included is also the SYX file for the original JD-800 / JD-990 hardware synths, but since I don’t own these synths the patches are untested. Some of the parameters had to be approximated during conversion since the original HW doesn't support tempo sync, (mostly synced delays and LFO) and are converted to 120bpm tempo

Instructions:

To use the soundset, follow these steps:

Roland JD-08

X-DUBS soundset installs into bank D on the JD-08 keeping factory patches in banks A and B intact.

1. Connect your computer to the JD-08 with a USB cable.
2. While holding down the [EXIT] button, turn on the power.
3. Open the “JD-08” on your computer.
4. The “BACKUP” folder is located in the JD-08.
5. Backup your JD-08 before uploading the soundset!!!
6. Delete the Backup folder
7. Copy the JD08Backup.svd file from zip file to the RESTORE folder
8. After copying is completed, disconnect your JD-08 safely via “eject”
9. Press the PAGE / TIE button on the JD-08. The restore operation begins, and the [PAGE/TIE] button  blinks. “donE” is displayed once the restore operation is finished.
10. Turn off the power and reboot your unit. The patches are in Bank D.

Roland Cloud JD-800 VST

1. Load the X-DUBS.bin file in the JD-800 VST
2. All done!

Roland Zencore synths:

Zenology Pro:
1. Open Zenology Pro (JD800 expansion must be installed / licensed)
2. Click on “write”
3. Select “import” from the left bottom menu
4. Load the SVZ file or the Zenology Pro BIN file
5. All done!

Roland Jupiter X/Xm

1. Copy the SVZ file on a flash drive into ROLAND/SOUND folder
2. Follow the instructions to load on Jupiter X/Xm:
